Architectural exhibition of two architects Parent and Child who had been nurtured by Kanazawa

Architectural exhibition of two architects Parent and Child, Yoshiro Taniguchi and Yoshio Taniguchi, who had been nurtured by Kanazawa. While Kanazawa has a long history as a castle-town, in recent years, innovative contemporary architectures have been built and attracting a lot of attention. In this exhibition, the venue of Kanazawa Citizen’s Art Center which renovated the brick-made spinning factory in the Meiji period, approaches the essence of the two architectural thought.
Through the rich architectural world they have created, it is hoped that this exhibition will provide an opportunity for people to consider broad questions of architectural culture and the urban environment such as, What does architecture give material form to? and What is necessary to the construction of a better city and what does that mean in the context of Kanazawa?
